Set includes:

1 – Blister Beetle (Mylabris Pustulata) It’s of the family Meloidae and has a defensive secretion of a blistering agent, Cantharidin. Some say it “spits acid.” What you can’t see in the photos is that the orange is a beautiful, deep iridescence coloration.

1 – Jeweled Frog Beetle (S. Buqueti) This beetle in resin has beautiful iridescent colors which seem to change depending on how you look at it. It’s strong hind legs are used for male -to-male combat and defense.

1 – Wasp Spider (Argiope Bruennichi)

All three Lucite blocks measure individually approximately 1 3/4 inches high by 1 1/8 inch wide.
