This rare, vintage style, piece is in perfect condition with no damage. This classic pale green uranium glass figure stands approx. 2 3/8 inches tall. Small Vaseline glass girl with basket.
Uranium glass, sometimes called Vaseline glass was extremely popular during the 1950 – 1970s. When exposed to a black light it glows all sorts or eerie colors. It is not your regular glow-in-the-dark.
Uranium glass is glass which has had uranium added to it for coloration. Uranium is a naturally occurring, dense radioactive metal and is used as fuel in nuclear reactors. Since the amount is so low, this uranium glass figurine is completely harmless. The proportion is usually very low, about 2-10 percent.

Shes perfect! ![User picture]()
I was hesitant to buy this item because I was afraid it wasnt going to be made of Uranium Glass. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was in fact made of UG, she arrived quickly, well packaged and intact, shes smaller than I thought but that is just fine.
