This hand painted Egyptian mini figure stands approx. 3 1/2 inches tall is made of a durable poly-resin.
Ancient Egyptians believed that Anubis, the god of embalming, decided the fate of the dead in the afterlife. Jackals (a scavenging animal related to wolves) were often seen digging up buried bodies and eating them. This is most likely why Anubis was depicted as a jackal.
