She stands holding her scythe and a scale which represents justice and divine will. At her feet, gold colored coins and an owl which is her messenger.

Our Lady of Holy Death (Nuestra Señora de la Santa Muerte) is the personification of Death. She symbolizes healing and protection as she is the female reaper deity that will safely ushers souls into the afterlife.
