Item description

This Large Anubis Bust is a magnificent piece. He demands attention with his scowling expression and brilliantly colored royal Egyptian attire. Hang him on a wall or place him on a shelf as a bold piece of art.

This is a large, heavy piece that is composed of a polystone that has been hand painted a bronze tone with complimentary color accents. Measuring approximately 14.5 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide and 7 inches deep. There is a cord attached to the back ready to be hung from a wall. The eyes on this bust are cut out to either give him a deeply dark glare or you can add a back light to give him a powerful bright stare.

Anubis, also known as Anpu, is the Egyptian God of Death, Embalming and the Afterlife. He is represented as a jackal headed deity and was worshiped as the ruler of the underworld who decided the fate of all lost souls. Priests who performed the embalming of dead corpses often wore a jackal mask much like this one.

I plan on ordering an additional piece in June. I would like to see similar decor featuring Horus and other Egyptian gods.

I’ve made two purchases from this shop and highly recommend them. Both items, the Anubis Bust and a small gargoyle were of excellent quality and exactly as described. Shipping was quick and professionally packaged. Keeping my eyes open for more Odd items from here.

Received it at my door just 3 days after placing the order. It was packaged very well to ensure it didn't break up in transportation. It is very beautiful and fits on my Anubis altar perfectly!! Will be shopping here often!
