Mary -Vintage Keepsake Shadow Box

This is an older, vintage shadow box assemblage built inside a worn metal tin—this isn’t a new craft project. It feels like a personal gift someone put together a long time ago, and then held onto. The origin is unknown, but it reads like a keepsake made for someone who mattered.

Inside are little “memory” objects tucked into compartments: a brass key on a ball chain, a framed portrait charm, a charm with a pin-up image, a small devotional-style image, a star hairpin, a shell, lace details, coffin-shaped stones (blue and pink), a wine cork that clearly meant something to someone, and a beautifully preserved honeybee-and-flower resin block. One section includes a vintage-style spider illustration charm, plus a few tiny glass/stone pieces that finish the scene.

Measures approx. 10 3/8″ long × 4 1/4″ tall × 1 3/8″ deep. The piece shows honest age —part of what makes it feel like a real little mystery from someone else’s life.
