This half circle dome is solid, a nice large size, and nearly indestructible. The coiled snake which is embedded in the resin is a type of small water snake called a rice paddy snake or grey water snake.
Real snake in resin globe is approx. 3 1/2 inch diameter. As with all specimens in resin, size, coloring, and positioning of snake within the lucite can vary. We guarantee you will receive a quality specimen but not the exact one in photos.
This specimen (Enhydris plumbea) is documented, inspected, and approved by USFWS as sustainably sourced, meaning the sale of this item doesn’t harm the species or environment.
