Mini figure of Anubis, sitting upon his throne, protecting the gates to the underworld.

This hand painted Egyptian mini figure stands approx. 3 1/2 inches tall is made of a durable poly-resin.

Ancient Egyptians believed that Anubis, the god of embalming, decided the fate of the dead in the afterlife. Jackals (a scavenging animal related to wolves) were often seen digging up buried bodies and eating them. This is most likely why Anubis was depicted as a jackal.

The company sent me a different form of Anubis than what was listed but it works for what I need it to do. They did get the order out right away and it arrived in great shape.

Shipped fast and the figure is really nice and well made. A bit smaller then what I had in mind from the pictures but that's my bad for not checking the dimensions on the description.
