This is a beautifully colorful Egyptian Ibis Bird Statue. The Egyptian God Thoth in his bird form stands upon a book with tiny human skulls. The hieroglyphic shows the symbols of Thoth, Feathers and Man.
Made of a high quality cold cast resin and hand painted. Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep.
Because this is a hand painted item the finish may vary slightly.
Thoth is the ancient Egyptian God of the moon, science, magic and Master of Knowledge. Although he has many forms, his most common is the body of a man with the head of an ibis bird. It was believed that he was the creator of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
