Approved by USFWS (Fish and Wildlife) Legally obtained. This beautifully morbid piece is a dead bird in crystal clear resin. This particular bird is a Sunda Zebra Finch with the scientific name of Taeniopygia guttata. Although this bird is commonly bred in captivity as a pet all over the world, this type of finch is found in the wild in Indonesia.
Makes for a great educational piece or a perfect addition to any Oddities and Curiosities collection. Resin block measures approximately 4 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches tall.
