These turtles come from a farm where they are bred for food. These are the ones that didn’t make it and died naturally. The Red Eared Slider is a subspecies of turtles known as Pond Sliders. They are one of the most popular pets around the world. Due to pet release they have become one of the worlds top 100 most invasive species.

All our specimens are inspected and approved by USFWS (U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services) as sustainably sourced, meaning the sale of this item does not hurt the species or the environment.

This turtle in resin makes for an excellent educational piece or great addition to any oddities and curiosities collection.

All animal specimens very slightly in size and shape. The product you receive may not be the exact one pictured. We’ll ensure you receive a high quality specimen. Turtle in lucite measures approx. 3 inches tall.

Buyer beware! Nothing wrong with the turtle, just soo small can't really see it. I actually keep a magnifying glass next to it and the others ones I purchased. Been wanting to return it just so busy haven't gotten around to it. Bottom line, great gift to a young child interested in creatures. I didn't think this through on this purchase. My mistake.
