This disturbingly beautiful piece looks as if it is covered in moss and has several purple Violet Webcap mushrooms growing on and braking out of an upside down human skull.
Although it truly looks like it belongs in the outdoors, this piece would be magnificent piece to add to any oddities collection, goblincore decor, or curio cabinet of natural curiosities. Even the backside of this piece is charming enough to display.
Measures approximately 8 3/4 inch tall, 6 inch deep and 5 inches wide. It is composed of a high quality cold cast resin and hand painted. Because this is hand painted the finish may vary slightly.
Also known as Cortinarius violaceus, these purple fungi are mostly found in the forests of North America and Europe. What better way to showcase the cycle of life and death than this unique mushroom skull display.
Very pretty mushroom I really like it one of the best. I love the purple and we all are enjoying looking at all my mushrooms that I’m starting to acquire. I think the one that I least like is the black and blue one that’s new don’t like the color combination. Other than that everything is a 100.
This mushroom skull looks great in the pics on the website but when I say the photos do not do it justice. I love it so much.
