Yellow Orange Tip Butterfly in Resin, Ixias pyrene

Approved by USFWS (Fish and Wildlife) Legally obtained. The Yellow Orange Tip Butterfly (Ixias pyrene) is in the butterfly family Pieridae. They can be found in  Sri Lanka, India and southeast Asia throughout the plains and lowlands. Their habitat is dry deciduous forests, scrub and fallow lands and are common during the monsoon season and a bit rare during the summer.

This real butterfly is masterfully preserved in crystal clear resin, making every detail visible from all angles.
