Approved by USFWS (Fish & Wildlife) Legally obtained. This snake skeleton in resin has been meticulously cleaned and whitened, allowing even the smallest of bones to be easily viewed and studied. It is encased in crystal clear resin allowing it to be viewed and from all angles. The nearly indestructible lucite makes it a wonderful teaching aid for years to come.
This snake skeleton makes for an interesting and unique display. The specimen is (Hypsiscopus plumbea) the Rice Paddy Snake. This snake reaches lengths of about 28 inches. It is a slightly venomous snake commonly found in the wetlands of South Asia.
Resin dome measures approx. 3 1/2 inch diameter and height is approx. 1 3/4 inches. As with all skeleton specimens in resin, size, coloring, and positioning can vary. We guarantee you will receive a quality specimen but not the exact one shown.
