Approved by USFWS (Fish and Wildlife) legally obtained. This Huge Beetle in Resin is Odontolabis siva. It can reach a length of 3.9 inches. The large pincers of the males are used to wrestle each other for mating and food. These beetles are nocturnal and feed on tree sap and decaying fruits. This species is present in the rain-forest of Japan, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand.

Insect Lucite block measures approx. 4 1/4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide.
