Dead Leaf Butterfly in Resin, Real Butterfly Display, Kallima inachus

Approved by USFWS (Fish and Wildlife) Legally obtained. This unique piece is a real Dead Leaf Butterfly in resin. Also known as the Orange Oakleaf butterfly, it’s scientific name is Kallima inachus. They are found in tropical Asia, India and Japan. When in the closed position this butterfly looks almost identical to a dried oak leaf to hide from predators. This unique butterfly would make for a welcome addition to any insect or oddities collection.

Measures approx. 3 3/4 X 3 3/4 inches. Its slightly bigger than most of our butterflies. Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved butterfly with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.
