This real toad skeleton in resin makes for an amazing display and wonderful teaching aid. The specimen is (Bufo gargarizans) the Asiactic Toad or Chusan Island Toad. It is widely distributed among Cambodia, China, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. They are nocturnal and can be found in burrows or under rocks and leaf litter. They breed in still or slow moving waters after monsoon season.
This toad skeleton has been meticulously cleaned and whitened, allowing even the smallest of bones to be inspected and studied. It is encased in flawless resin allowing it to be viewed and from all angles. It’s a perfect educational tool.
