This beautifully frightening Head of Medusa wall plaque is ready to hang in your home. Our Medusa is made of a high quality cold cast bronze and then hand painted with subtle color accents. Masterfully sculpted, you can see every scale on the snakes that surround her fanged face.
Wall plaque measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide. Comes with sawtooth hook attached to back so she is ready to be hung.
Medusa, also knows as a one of the Gorgons, was described in Greek Mythology as a winged monster with living snakes for hair. It is said, that to gaze in her eyes would turn the onlooker into stone.
