Giant Black Swallowtail Butterfly in Resin, Insect in Resin, Papilio Maackii

Approved by USFWS (Fish & Wildlife) legally obtained. This very large Butterfly in Resin is Papilio Maackii. More commonly known as the Alpine Black Swallowtail. It’s a butterfly of the family Papilionidae. And is found in Central Asia, Japan, China and South Korea.

In nature it is known for it’s size, black coloration with a dark green-blue iridescence.

Lucite block measures approx. 5 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 wide and 3/4 of an inch deep.
