Item description

This Gargoyle bottle holder is a handsome piece. With his mouth open wide, he is ready to protect your favorite bottle of wine or spirits. Would make a great statement piece to add to your kitchen or home bar. Holds one bottle of wine perfectly.

Made of a high quality polyresin and hand painted. Wine botte holder measures approximately 8.5 inches deep, 6 1/4 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide. Because this is a hand painted item the finish may vary slightly.

Some of the earliest known Gargoyles were erected in ancient Egypt. They stood to protect temples and the people within. Later in Medieval times, elaborate structures where built to surround cathedrals. In more modern times they were made to redirect water from larger buildings. To this day the Gargoyle remains a symbol as a spiritual protector and a staple to any gothic home.
