Vintage Toe Tags, Set of 4 Real Mortuary Identification Tags

Set of 4 Real Mortuary toe tags. These are vintage but never used. In modern age the toe tag has become a vital tool for funeral homes, coroners offices and hospitals. They are often found tied with string around the big toe of a deceased person, thus the nick name of toe tag. But did you know that it is common practice to tie a tag not only on the body but also the outside of the body bag and personal effects belonging to the person.

In this set you will receive one of each of these tags. They will be labeled either “attach to toe”, “attach to outside” and or “attach to personal effects”. It is also a common practice to label a person with a special brightly colored tag if they died of a contagious disease such as hepatis, HIV or Tuberculosis.

You will receive 4 Mortuary tags with attached string. At lease one of each kind of label, two of which will be a bright orange communicable disease tag. Your purchase will come in a small gift box.

As these are vintage there may be some minor sign of age.
