Item description

Approved by USFWS (Fish & Wildlife) legally obtained. This little insect is quite a beautiful and interesting specimen. It is (Lycorma Delicatula) commonly known as the Spotted Lanternfly. It is native to China but has made it’s way to the U.S. It was first spotted in Pennsylvania in 2014 and is considered an invasive species.

This tiny insect in resin is embedded in a flawless, crystal clear resin block with it’s wings gently spread to display it’s beautiful colors and patterns. A welcome little addition to any entomology collection.

Miniature block measures approx. 1 1/2 inches square. Your purchase will come boxed with a cute little organza bag, ready to give as a gift if you choose. As with all specimens in resin, shape, positioning, and coloration of lanternfly within the resin block can vary slightly.
