DISCOUNT – The reason for the discount is there is some kind of imperfection in the Shrunken Head. There might be a small hole, scar or dent in the leather, missing a patch of hair or thread, have a broken noes piece or have some kind of discoloration. See pictures for example of what you could receive.
These Shrunken Head replicas are made from real tanned Alpaca hide and hair. The heads are hand crafted by local artisans in Ecuador where the original practice of “head shrinking” originated from. These shrunken heads are about as real as it gets! The sale of real shrunken heads was outlawed in the 1930’s.

Not only did I receive it really fast but I bought it as a gift. My brother absolutely loves it.
I am always on the lookout for the unique, quirky, and macabre and when I came across these shrunken heads, I had to have one (and luckily got the last one in stock!). It was slightly discounted for some sort of flaw which was all disclosed upon purchase but honestly, I’m not sure what the company is constituting an imperfection. I wouldn’t expect a real human shrunken head to be perfectly symmetrical or have no “flaws” so the piece’s integrity was 100 % acceptable and authentic in my mind. It’s really such a cool item and I love that it is made with organic material. Grab one when they are back in stock!
