Item description

This Cthulhu Grim Reaper Statue is truly terrifying. He stand tall with his tattered hooded cape covering his grotesque face and large tentacles spill out from underneath.

Made of a high quality cold cast resin and hand painted. Measures approximately 8 inches tall, 3.5 inches deep and 4 inches wide. Because this is a hand painted item the finish may vary slightly.

Cthulhu, the High Priest of the Great Old Ones, The Great Dreamer, The Sleeper of R’lyeh. Its origin comes from the mind of author H.P. Lovecraft around 1928. In his writings Cthulhu is described as “a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind.” Since than the Cthulhu has become an icon in science fiction horror.

*As cool as it may be – We do not recommended this to be used in a fish tank

It’s the perfect size, has great detail all around it, with some weight. I wanted it to accent the PC I just built, and I can’t explain how it just clicked. If you’re looking at this thinking it’ll work with an aesthetic, trust that because it will. Also had a little mix up with an order and seller sent another out immediately without question and was just the absolutely nicest about it.

It’s heftier than I thought it would be and I’m very pleased with the at. The details are beautiful and I adore this idol very much.
