Item description

This unique piece is a framed and matted Elizabeth of York Cigarette card. The frame is wood and glass with a paper backing with a brief history of tobacco cards printed on the back.

Tobacco cards are little collectible cards that were added to packs of cigarettes between 1875 and the 1940’s. They often represented icons of popular culture like actresses, sports, and fashion. This card portrays Elizabeth of York who was the Queen of England and wife of King Henry VII until her death in 1503.

Measures approx. 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
