DISCOUNT -Real Raccoon Dog Skull, Mangut Skull, Animal Skulls

These are good skulls. The reason for discount is that they might be discolored, yellowed, missing some small teeth, etc. If damage is to great, we simply won’t sell it. *Not all photos are of discount skull, see phots for example.

This isn’t a Raccon and it isn’t a Dog, it’s a Raccoon Dog! Yes, it’s a real animal, sometimes called a Mangut. (Nyctereutes procyonoides) The name “night wanderer.” They look exactly how you would expect, a raccoon with a bit of dog thrown in. It is is a canid, indigenous to East Asia. The Raccoon Dog Skulls greatly resemble those of South American foxes, though genetic studies show that they are not closely related. Their skulls are small and sturdy with smaller (often dull) canines due to their omnivorous diet.

Skull measures approx. 4 7/8 inches long by 3 inches wide.
